Today's challenges of urban mobility are highly complex and it is essential to listen to regions, cities and, most of all, to the citizens. The needs always look similar: urban mobility must be safer, more efficient, more sustainable and easily accessible. The solutions, though, can be very individual or, as we like to call it, context-based.
To meet those needs, Mercedes-Benz brings urban functionalities into the vehicles that address the specific requirements in a dynamically changing urban environment. We use vehicle-data to build products that improve safety and optimize traffic flows and we consult cities and other urban players in designing and implementing holistic mobility systems as an end-to-end mobility integrator, to successfully address any urban mobility challenge.
